Valley put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They were fully in charge, breezing past Urbandale 49-10. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Valley had established a 42-10 advantage.
The win bumped Valley's record up to 6-0. The loss dropped Urbandale back to even at 3-3.
Next week Valley take on Lincoln at 7:00 PM. Valley are cruising in on a six-game winning streak while Lincoln are stumbling in off of six consecutive losses. As for Urbandale, they will face off against Des Moines North. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
