The biggest upset of the week belonged to Upper Moreland, who took down 149th ranked Cheltenham, 28-21.
Plymouth Whitemarsh extended the longest winning streak in Suburban One - American this week by beating Norristown, 28-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Colonials.
Springfield Township's dynamic duo of Chris Stone and Billy Dahm proved tough for Upper Dublin to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Stone threw for 169 yards and two touchdowns and Dahm had 93 yards receiving. Jhaloni Johnson helped Springfield Township's passing attack out by catching three balls for 49 yards.
Corey Kelly was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 111 yards on 15 carries as Plymouth Whitemarsh fell to the Cardinals. Teammate Terry Brown added to the ground attack by rushing for 67 yards.
On the ground, Dan Chang's team's Kelly has rushed for 1057 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Alton Custus. The Plymouth Whitemarsh star has 29 catches for 433 yards.
Brown of the the Colonials is only 62 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Brown has rushed for 938 yards on 110 carries so far this year.
A big matchup in Suburban One - American this week will be when Bret Stover's team takes on Plymouth Whitemarsh. The Cardinals are in fourth place, while the Colonials are in first place.
The Bears moved up to 223 from 265 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Upper Moreland was able to make move up by besting the Panthers 28-21.
