The Shaw Cardinals will head out on the road to square off against the Orange Lions at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Shaw is no doubt hoping to put an end to an 18-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 80-8, which was the final score in Shaw's tilt against Warrensville Heights on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Shaw can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 745th, while Warrensville Heights is ranked 87th).
Meanwhile, Orange had to suffer through a rough 65-36 loss at the hands of Fuchs Mizrachi. Orange has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Shaw has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season. As for Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
