The Johnson City Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the San Saba Armadillos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson City will be looking to keep their ten-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Johnson City came up short against the Eagles and fell 38-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Johnson City has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Johnson City got a solid performance out of Mccray Jacobs, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Johnny Slawinski, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for San Saba, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-40 loss to the Eagles on Friday. San Saba has not had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Johnson City's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8. As for San Saba, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-13.
Johnson City beat the Armadillos 58-50 when the teams last played back in January. Will Johnson City repeat their success, or do the Armadillos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
