After a string of 12 wins, Richmond's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a blow against the St. Pius X Warriors, falling 76-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Spartans have suffered since February 1st.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gabriel Johnson, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Johnson has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 13 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Nolan Quick, who went 6-for-14 en route to 17 points.

Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 24-4. As for St. Pius X, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Richmond does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Pius X, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
