Basketball Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Piles Up the Points Against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial

There's no place like home for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines, posting a 75-42 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-40 back in December of 2024.

Leading Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North to victory were Isaiah Garza and Mason Lopez. Garza made all 6 shots he took to post 14 points along with six rebounds and six steals, while Lopez went 6 of 9 en route to 14 points and five boards. Those six steals gave Garza a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Matthew Archer, who posted seven points and five rebounds.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.
