Lincoln had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They breezed past the Washington Eagles to the tune of 70-37. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Washington had strong showings from Ezana Hailu, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds, and Joseph Mitchell, who posted six points and 13 boards. Mitchell is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 18-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points over those games. As for Washington, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 18-9.

Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Balboa at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
