The Corinth Warriors were the 17-14 winner over the Lafayette Commodores when they last played one another back in August of 2014, but their luck changed this time around. The match between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Corinth falling 28-14. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lafayette's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Davion Bell, who rushed for 15 yards and three touchdowns.
Corinth has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 3-9 record this season. As for Lafayette, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corinth will be staying on the road on November 10th to face off against Holmes County Central at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Holmes County Central is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Lafayette, they will head out on the road to face off against Canton at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th.
