Lansdowne is 5-0 against Patapsco since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Lansdowne Vikings' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Patapsco Patriots on February 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maryland (Lansdowne is ranked 281st, while Patapsco is ranked 258th).
Last Wednesday, things could have been worse for Lansdowne, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-26 loss to Hereford. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lansdowne has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Patapsco had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Western Tech & Environmental Science on Wednesday and snuck past 44-42.
Lansdowne's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Patapsco, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.
Everything came up roses for Lansdowne against Patapsco in their previous matchup back in February of 2019 as the squad secured a 77-27 victory. Does Lansdowne have another victory up their sleeve, or will Patapsco turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
