Sports Leadership & Management escaped with a win against Virgin Valley by the margin of a single free throw, 69-68. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sports Leadership & Management.
It was another big night for Andre Cade, who scored 31 points along with six rebounds. The match was his 19th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Noah Tomlin, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Corban Waite, who scored 14 points along with three steals. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Davis, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Sports Leadership & Management is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record this season. As for Virgin Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

As for Virgin Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Mater Academy East Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mater Academy East Las Vegas will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
