Fort Wayne Northrop waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Fort Wayne South Side Archers as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Brilee Day was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Makenzie Key, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Fort Wayne Northrop was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive contests.

Fort Wayne Northrop's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Fort Wayne South Side, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
