Lost River will have to contend with a Cascade Christian  team hungry for a  win, something the  squad hasn't seen  since September 23. Cascade Christian and Illinois Valley finished up their  match with  a  2-2 draw on Thursday.
 Meanwhile, Lost River fell victim to St. Mary's and their airtight defense  on Thursday. They lost  7-0 to the Crusaders. The  loss   continues a  trend for Lost River in their meetings with St. Mary's: they've now lost four in a row.
 Lost River now  has a losing record of 4-5-2. With that  draw, Cascade Christian's record moves to 1-3-2.
 Cascade Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Lost River in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024, sneaking past  1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Challengers since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
