It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lake Highland Prep had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They breezed by the Wildcats at home to the tune of 84-21. Lake Highland Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 25 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Ari Woodard, who scored 24 points along with seven assists and four steals. She also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Blue, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Bishop Moore was fully in charge on Wednesday, breezing past Mulberry 64-27 on the road. The win was just what Bishop Moore needed coming off of a 70-35 loss in their prior match.
Lake Highland Prep pushed their record up to 19-5 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Bishop Moore, the win got them back to even at 12-12.
