West Milford lost to Ramsey at home by a decisive 49-35 margin on Tuesday. West Milford has not had much luck with Ramsey recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, West Milford had strong showings from Avery Vacca, who scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals, and Sarah Benowitz, who scored 14 points. The match was Vacca's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Vivian Sirnik, who scored three points along with three steals.
West Milford's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Ramsey, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
West Milford will head out on the road to face off against DePaul Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ramsey will be home for the holidays to greet Dumont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
