Charlo is 9-1 against Two Eagle River since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Charlo Vikings will look to defend their home court against the Two Eagle River Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Charlo has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
In what's become a running theme this season, Charlo gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They breezed by Alberton at home to the tune of 68-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Charlo has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, Two Eagle River entered their tilt with Heart Butte with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Two Eagle River secured a 86-80 W over Heart Butte on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Two Eagle River got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Talon Addison out in front who scored 19 points. Malacye Piapot was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Charlo's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Two Eagle River, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3.
Charlo was able to grind out a solid victory over Two Eagle River in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 72-61. Does Charlo have another victory up their sleeve, or will Two Eagle River turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
