The result was an unpleasant reminder to Washington Catholic of the 51-41 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Leading Seven Oaks Classical to victory were Macy Bush and Olivia Easton. Bush scored 24 points along with three steals, while Easton scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bush has scored at least a third of Seven Oaks Classical's points.
Washington Catholic dropped their record down to 0-20 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road. As for Seven Oaks Classical, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.
Washington Catholic will square off against Vincennes Rivet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vincennes Rivet presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Washington Catholic in Indiana (Vincennes Rivet is ranked 173rd, while Washington Catholic is ranked 397th). As for Seven Oaks Classical, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Christian Academy of Madison at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
