West Plains is 10-0 against the Vikings since February of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. West Plains unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Thursday. Their tough 58-35 defeat to Kickapoo might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points West Plains has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Parkview's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight defeat. They took a 44-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Brooklynn Haines, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Brooklynn Masten was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
West Plains' loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Parkview, they dropped their record down to 1-20 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for West Plains against the Vikings in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 74-17 win. With West Plains ahead 43-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.
