Ottawa fell victim to Louisburg's stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Wildcats 33-0. Having soared to a lofty 65 points in the game before, Ottawa couldn't push the score so high this time.
Meanwhile, Tonganoxie didn't have too much trouble with Eudora at home on Friday as they won 21-7.
Colton Brusven continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 238 yards and three touchdowns. Brusven is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last seven games he's played.
Tonganoxie's victory bumped their season record to 5-2 while Ottawa's loss dropped theirs to 3-4.
Ottawa was taken down by Tonganoxie 55-13 when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Will Ottawa have more luck at home instead of on the road?
