Choudrant is 10-0 against the Demons since November of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Choudrant Aggies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Downsville Demons at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Choudrant has four straight wins, the Demons have 13 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, Choudrant was able to grind out a solid win over the Tigers, taking the game 42-29.
Meanwhile, Downsville suffered a rough 41-15 defeat at the hands of the Tigers on Tuesday. Downsville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-8.
Despite the defeat, Downsville had strong showings from Piper Bennett, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Kenzlie Smith, who scored no points. That was a full 46.7% of Downsville's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Choudrant's victory bumped their record up to 13-17. As for Downsville, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 14 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Choudrant against the Demons in their previous meeting last Friday as the team secured a 58-17 victory. Will Choudrant repeat their success, or do the Demons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
