Basketball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Beats Corn Bible Academy for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Cheyenne/Reydon had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They strolled past the Corn Bible Academy Crusaders with points to spare, taking the game 45-27. The squad ran away with 37 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.

Cheyenne/Reydon was led to victory by Cambree McGlothlin and Braylee Wright. McGlothlin posted 11 points, while Wright went 6 for 7 en route to 14 points. That's the most points Wright has posted since back in November of 2023. Kimbo Denney was another key player, putting up two points and five steals.

Cheyenne/Reydon pushed their record up to 14-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Corn Bible Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cheyenne/Reydon will take on Seiling at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Seiling knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Cheyenne/Reydon likes a good challenge. As for Corn Bible Academy, they will welcome Sharon-Mutual at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
