The Piedmont Classical Bobcats's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They blew past Cornerstone Charter 87-48 on the road. With that win, Piedmont Classical brought their scoring average up to 55 points per game.
Piedmont Classical got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cameron Anderson out in front who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Daniel , who scored 10 points.
Despite the loss, Cornerstone Charter still got an impressive performance from D'Trevion Harris, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 20 rebounds. The matchup was Harris' fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Piedmont Classical's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Cornerstone Charter, they have fallen quite a ways from their 15-7 record last season and are now at 1-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Piedmont Classical is on the road again on Tuesday and play against College Prep & Leadership Academy at 8:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Cornerstone Charter, they will face off against Bethany at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethany is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
