Bishop McLaughlin Catholic had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-54 win over the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hurricanes also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

It was another big night for Jacob Mekdeci, who went 8 of 12 en route to 21 points and six assists. Another player making a difference was Hunter Grove, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards.

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Foundation Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Caleb Hagan, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds. The match was Hagan's third in a row with at least ten points. Correy Stevenson was another key player, putting up seven points.

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Foundation Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
