Beecher is a perfect 10-0 against Donovan since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bobcats will host the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Beecher comes in on 29 and Donovan on three.
Beecher gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on Reed-Custer with a sharp 16-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 14 matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.
Taylor Norkus spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Beecher let Makenzie Johnson and Grace Wuest run wild. Johnson got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Wuest went 2-for-5 with seven RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave Wuest a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Karsyn Kasput, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Beecher was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Donovan hadn't done well against Illinois Lutheran recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wildcats blew past the Chargers 17-2.
Lily Anderson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those triples marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Piper Michl, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and one run.
Beecher's win bumped their record up to 20-0. As for Donovan, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
Donovan's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Beecher hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .417. It's a different story for Donovan, though, as they've only averaged .251. Will they be able to contain Beecher's hitters?
Everything went Beecher's way against Donovan in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Beecher made off with an 18-0 win. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
