Aidan Frisby was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Miami Valley Christian Academy let Evan Lafferty and Owen Nickum run wild. Lafferty scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Nickum scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave Nickum a new career-high. Zach Anderon also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Miami Valley Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Summit Country Day came tearing into Tuesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS.
Jack Phillabaum was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Bryce McNair was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
Summit Country Day pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, their record now sits at 7-2.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Miami Valley Christian Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .326. However, it's not like Summit Country Day struggles in that department as they've averaged .367. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
