Meanwhile, Briggs entered their  matchup against Central Crossing  on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bruins came up short against  the Comets, falling  3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Bruins have suffered  since September 6th.
 Briggs was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14,  25-23.
 Whetstone's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Briggs, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.
