Crockett waltzed into their game on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 19-5 margin over the Navarro Vikings. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won eight contests by 14 runs or more so far this season.

Adola Moore was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four runs, two triples, and one RBI. That's the most triples she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Isabel Morales, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Crockett was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .583. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .360 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Crockett pushed their record up to 12-7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.8 runs over those games. As for Navarro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Crockett is set to challenge their familiar foe Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Navarro will take on rival Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
