Algonac was the  3-1 winner over Romeo when they last played one another  back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. That  home run was  Murray's first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Aubree Thomas, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  run.
This is the second loss in a row for Algonac and  nudges their season record down to 9-11-1. As for Romeo, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Algonac will take on Yale at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Romeo, they will challenge Anchor Bay at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
