White Knoll kicked off their season on the road  on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against  the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats, falling  15-9. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in March of 2020.
 White Knoll saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jeremy Powell, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI.
The  win made it two in a row for Brookland-Cayce and  bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.
 Looking ahead, White Knoll will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Non Varsity Opponent  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Brookland-Cayce, they will head out on the road to  take on  River Bluff  at 2:30  p.m.  on March 5th.
