The Pescadero Vikings lost against the Kehillah Rams on January 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Pescadero lost to Kehillah at home by a decisive 64-50 margin. Pescadero has struggled against Kehillah recently, as their match on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Kehillah was led to victory by Ian Cohen and Ittai Kohavi. Cohen scored 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Kohavi dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Kohavi has scored at least a third of Kehillah's points. Another player making a difference was Bodhi Gemello, who scored six points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Pescadero's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Kehillah, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.
Pescadero will head out on the road to face off against Summit Shasta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Summit Shasta's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven matchups. As for Kehillah, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against The Nueva School at 3:45 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Gabe Ciechanover and Kohavi.
