Marcus had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Everything went their way against the Lewisville Farmers as they made off with a 7-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Marauders, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Marcus' victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Lewisville, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marcus will take on rival Hebron at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lewisville is set to challenge their familiar foe Braswell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
