2A District 3 recap November 5, 2013
Glasgow extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 3 this week by beating Elizabethtown, 38-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Glasgow took down the Panthers 38-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Marquez Trigg ran for 169 yards in the win.
Glasgow's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Scotties feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ryan Hinkley has thrown for 1,125 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Milas Norris has 17 catches for 427 yards.
Green County made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,766 from 7,417. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 51-15 victory over Taylor County last week.
