Glenelg Country had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-11 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests 20-2. The Dragons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Cam Stallone and Keegan Wojdon made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Stallone pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Wojdon pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Glenelg Country is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-10 otherwise. At bat, Stallone went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI and three runs, while Wojdon went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Wojdon has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Glenelg Country let Patrick Wojdon and Zachary Laycock run wild. Wojdon got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base, while Laycock went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most runs Laycock has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Bear Williams-Abrams, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Glenelg Country always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

As for Sandy Spring Friends, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since April 12, 2024.

On Sandy Spring Friends' side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Edelman, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenelg Country will host Severn School at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
