The Bellevue Redmen will head out on the road to take on the Elyria Catholic Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Bellevue is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
While it was all tied up 19-19 at halftime, Bellevue was not quite Norwalk's equal in the second half on Friday. Bellevue fell to Norwalk 44-39. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Bellevue came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while Norwalk is ranked 309th).
Meanwhile, Elyria Catholic earned a 66-53 victory over Rocky River on Friday.
Bellevue's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Elyria Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
