Richland lost to Jackson  back in May of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Bombers blew past the Timberwolves 15-1. The Bombers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven  runs or more this season.
 Emmalee Mohr made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Sophia Sams and  Julia Saueressig did most of the damage at the plate:  Sams  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double, while  Saueressig  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and two  runs. Those  three  RBI gave  Saueressig a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Payton Chacon, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 Richland  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in nine consecutive  contests.
Richland's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Jackson, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record  this season.
 Richland will venture away from home to  face off against Hermiston  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.07  runs per game on average), something the Bombers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Jackson, they will host Issaquah  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
