The Denver Christian Thunder came tearing into  Friday's  game with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 47.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   55-48  victory over Dayspring Christian Academy. Winning is a bit easier when  you  make six more threes than your opponent, as Denver Christian did.
 Denver Christian got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Natalie Bohannon out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 11  rebounds. Bohannon also  posted two+  blocks for the first time this season.  Fabiana Genc was another key contributor,  almost  dropping  a double-double on ten points and nine  rebounds.
 When it comes to explaining why Dayspring Christian Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Eboselulu Omofoma. Despite the final result, she  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and 13  rebounds. Omofoma hasn't dropped below eight  rebounds for six straight games. Another player making a difference was  Faith Hayward, who  scored 15 points.
 Denver Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, their defeat  ended a four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-4.
 Denver Christian and Bishop Machebeuf will face off  at 3:00  p.m.  on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Averaging 55.47  points so far this season, Denver Christian's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Bishop Machebeuf better be ready for a challenge. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Lyons at 6:00  p.m. Hopefully Dayspring Christian Academy is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank  in Colorado (they are ranked 86th, while Lyons is ranked 259th).
