The Ganado Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They fell to Bloomington 50-44. Ganado was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bloomington apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Sean Darby continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bloomington, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Darby has scored at least a third of Bloomington's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Victor Reyes, who scored 12 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Ganado bumped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Bloomington, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.
