Sacred Heart Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drew Wagner, who scored 13 points. The game was Wagner's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Matthew Wendling, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Eastside College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Sacred Heart Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Eastside College Prep will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Crystal Springs Uplands at 7:00 p.m. As for Sacred Heart Prep, they will square off against Lincoln at 3:30 a.m. on Saturday.
