Bryon Martin was a one-man wrecking crew For Fairhope. as he picked up 111 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 50 yards and one score. Martin showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 50 yards. Another player making a difference was Trey Garner, who threw for 151 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes.
The win got Fairhope back to even at 1-1.
Faith Academy and Fairhope will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Rams are set to square off against their familiar foe Citronelle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fairhope will challenge rival Bryant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
