University dropped their record down to 14-11 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 6-0 to the Center Grove Trojans. The Trailblazers were not able to make up for their loss to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

As for Center Grove, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

For Center Grove's part, the team relied heavily on Cayden Jones, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Hudson Stewart was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University will head out to face off against Park Tudor at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Center Grove, they will venture away from home to take on Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
