On Friday Moore County take on Cannon County at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
There's no need to mince words: Moore County lost to Cornersville last week, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-39. Moore County were down by 0-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Cannon County might be aching after a bruising 13-42 loss to Sequatchie County.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
