Kemora Williams and Apple Turner stepped up to the plate in a big way. Williams scored two runs while going 3-for-5, while Turner scored a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave Williams a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Jayah Liddell, who scored three runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
Even though they lost, Democracy Prep Agassi Campus was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .472. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
