Calvary Day School was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They fell just short of the Westchester Country Day Wildcats by a score of  5-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Calvary Day School of the  14-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  last Tuesday.
 Calvary Day School saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Austin Setliff, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 On Westchester Country Day's side,  Crawford Elrod was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Elrod continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Tate Vogler, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Calvary Day School's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Westchester Country Day, the  win was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
 Calvary Day School will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Greensboro Day School at 4:15  p.m. Greensboro Day School's pitching crew has only allowed 1.4  runs per game  this season, so Calvary Day School's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Westchester Country Day, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Wesleyan Christian Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Wesleyan Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last four matchups.
