After flying high against Frazier Mountain  last Tuesday, Boron came back down to earth. The Boron Bobcats fell  46-36 to the Bishop Union Broncos on Friday. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their  loss to the Broncos from their previous meeting  back in February of 2024.
Despite the loss, Boron still got an impressive performance from   Moses Garcia, who  posted six  points and 13  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Isaiah Morgan, who  scored five points and six  boards.

 Even though they lost, Boron  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 12  offensive rebounds in six consecutive  games.
Boron dropped their record down to 6-9 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Bishop Union, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record  this season.
 Boron has  already played their next  matchup (against California City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bishop Union will head out on the road to  face off against  Kern Valley  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Bishop Union will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
