Despite the loss, Chrisman saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dylan Lucas went 6-for-15 en route to 18 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Lucas a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin McCord, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds.
Hoopeston found their leader in freshman Alandize Barnett, who went 10-for-17 on his way to 26 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.
