Laguna Acoma never let their opponents score on Monday. They put the hurt on Thoreau with a sharp 18-0 win. The match marked Laguna Acoma's most dominant victory of the season so far.

Xavier Arkie was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Cooper Twobull was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.

Laguna Acoma was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The win (which was Laguna Acoma's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Thoreau, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.
