Oak Grove suffered their biggest defeat yet this season last Friday. They were outmatched by Northwest Rankin on the road and fell 77-38.
Meanwhile, Pearl pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 66-59 to Brandon.
Oak Grove has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Pearl, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.
Oak Grove might still be hurting after the 76-52 loss they got from Pearl in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Oak Grove avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
