It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Palmer Trinity Falcons ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 67-60 victory over Ransom Everglades. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Palmer Trinity was led to victory by Harrison Miles and Graham Yanowitch. Miles scored ten points along with seven assists and four steals, while Yanowitch scored 22 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Miles also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Emil Infante was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
Palmer Trinity is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. As for Ransom Everglades, they bumped their record down to 8-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. As for Ransom Everglades, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Somerset Academy South Homestead at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Somerset Academy South Homestead will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
