Biglerville extended their winning streak to five on Thursday, bumping them up to 12-5. They put the hurt on the Fairfield Knights with a sharp 18-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Canners, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.
Parker Black made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025.
In other batting news, Aiden Hoffman was a standout: he went 4-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Althoff, who went 4-for-6 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles.
Biglerville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
As for Fairfield, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with Biglerville: they've now lost six in a row.
On Fairfield's side, Jacob Liller was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Vaughn Lewis, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
