Glenbrook scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They had to suffer through a 82-51 loss at the hands of the Cedar Creek Cougars. The loss continues a trend for the Apaches in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite the defeat, Glenbrook saw an underclassman step up: freshman Carson Powell dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten boards. That was a full 49% of Glenbrook's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Sam Ricord was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Glenbrook's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Cedar Creek, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenbrook has already played their next matchup (against Georgetown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cedar Creek will take on Ringgold at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
