After three games on the road, Caldwell is heading back home. They will take on the Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, Caldwell lost to Sedan on the road by a decisive 66-48 margin.
Despite their loss, Caldwell saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jackson Risley, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Newell, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cedar Vale/Dexter unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 64-51 to Oxford.
Caldwell's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-6. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Caldwell didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Cedar Vale/Dexter in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, but they still walked away with a 38-34 victory. Will Caldwell repeat their success, or does Cedar Vale/Dexter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
